Ravenstone Tiles creates handmade art tile, tile murals and custom ceramic house numbers for homes and businesses.
Established in the Pacific Northwest in 1999, Ravenstone Tiles came to life as a home-based tile studio in Port Townsend, Washington. The natural landscapes, seascapes, old growth forests and dramatic mountain ranges have been inspirations to our ever-changing line of art tiles. The designs and colors we use are influenced by arts & crafts style tiles from the late 19th and early 20th century.
Ravenstone tiles are handmade from a durable stoneware which makes them suitable for indoor or outdoor installation. They will withstand high heat, freezing temperatures and wet weather. They may be placed in the kitchen, bath, fireplace and outside of the home.
You may use our decorative tiles in installations with field tile, stone, brick and wood. Our creations also look great framed and hung on the wall as artwork. Most of the tiles are made with high relief design and textured surfaces that enliven the surface quality of glaze colors. Our color palette is fairly muted with primarily matte to satin finishes.
Tile murals are groupings of 2 or more decorative tiles that fit together to create a scene. Tile murals are shipped as separate pieces for installation or framing. Although we do not make field tile or frames, we can provide you links to companies that do.
